1. Lufthansa Aviation Training

Lufthansa Aviation Training is a private aviation training school. It is owned by the Lufthansa Group, an airline group that trains pilots all over the world. Lufthansa has headquarters in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United States of America.

As one of the leading aviation schools in the world, Lufthansa has 54 planes, 5 aerodromes, 700 instructors, and 73 simulators. The school provides aviation training for cockpit, cabin, and Ab Initio Flight training.

6. Singapore Flying College

The Singapore Flying College was founded in 1988 and is owned by Singapore Airlines. The school is known as the pioneer of Initio training courses in Singapore. Singapore Flying College uses the CAAS Ground and Flight Training Syllabus. The school maintains a Garmin EFIS-equipped C171GA aircraft and conventional Cessna 172 for the Ab Initio Flight training.

7. US Aviation Academy

The US Aviation Academy (UAA) is one of the most highly rated flight schools in the USA. UAA has a fleet of 90 planes, 1 aerodrome, 20 instructors, and 11 simulators. The academy has two campuses located in Denton and Sherman Texas.

8. Purdue University

The Purdue University is located in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. Purdue University is known as the “Cradle of Astronauts,” being the alma mater of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon! Every student in the flight program gets the chance to fly a jet during their training.

Students can major in aeronautical engineering technology, air traffic control, aviation management, or flight (aka professional flight technology). Purdue’s Aviation Department operates 16 Cirrus SR20s, 2 Piper Seminoles, a Super Decathlon, a Beechjet, and a Phenom 300.

9. International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ)

The International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ) is the professional flight training division of New Zealand Canterbury Aero Club, the largest Aero Club in the country. IAANZ is recognized by the New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) and the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (NZ CAA).

10. Skies Aviation Academy

The Skies Aviation Academy is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. The school is the first approved training organization under the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations. The academy offers professional flight instructional and theoretical training courses from a Private Pilot License (PPL) to an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). The school’s fleet consists of modern single-engine and multi-engine aircrafts such as Pipers PA-28 and Diamond DA-42.
